Mike’s Bike Park continues its series of monthly block party events this weekend with an event of Olympic proportions.

The block party debuted in April and will continue the second Saturday of each month through September.
The May block party will be a special Spring Olympics event with Dayton Sportcial.

"Special to May, we're excited to welcome Dayton Sportcial, who will be hosting the "Spring Olympics" — four person teams for four events," according to Mike's event page.

"With the help of the great folks at Wagner Subaru, these Block Parties are our monthly celebration of our community's music, art, goods, food, beer, and of course, biking."

“This is an open invitation to everyone in Dayton who’s doing something cool they want to share,” Bisig said. “We’ve got that big grass lot next to the Bike Park, and I can’t wait to fill it every month with some of the most inspiring people found anywhere in the country.”
